Manage your personal account preferences

Accessing Account Settings

Navigate to Settings from the sidebar to manage your account.

Profile Information
Update your personal details

What You Can Update:

  • Profile Picture: Upload a photo to personalize your account
  • First Name: Your first name
  • Last Name: Your last name
  • Email: Your account email address

How to Update:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Edit the fields you want to change
  3. Click Save
Business Information
Details that appear on invoices and quotes

Configure business details from Settings:

  • Company Name: Your business name
  • Company Address: Your business address
  • ABN: Australian Business Number (if applicable)
  • Banking Details: BSB and account number for payments

These details automatically appear on all invoices and quotes you create.

Invoice & Quote Defaults

Set default values for new invoices and quotes:

  • Invoice Prefix: e.g., "INV-" or "2024-"
  • Quote Prefix: e.g., "QT-" or "EST-"
  • Starting Numbers: Set the next invoice/quote number
  • Default Terms: Payment terms and conditions
  • Default Notes: Standard notes for all documents
Password & Security

Protect your account by changing your password regularly:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the "Change Password" section
  3. Enter a new password (minimum 8 characters)
  4. Confirm the password
  5. Click Send Reset Email
  6. Check your email and follow the reset link
Delete Account
Permanently remove your account and data

You can permanently delete your account from the Settings page.

⚠️ Warning

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your invoices, quotes, clients, and data will be permanently deleted.

✓ Keep Profile Updated

Update your email and name if they change

✓ Complete Business Info Early

Set up business details before creating your first invoice

✓ Use Strong Passwords

Change your password every 3-6 months

✓ Review Settings Quarterly

Check that all information is still accurate
