Delete Your Account

Permanently remove your account and all associated data

Warning: This Action is Permanent
Account deletion cannot be undone. Please read this carefully before proceeding.

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your user profile and account settings
  • All invoices, quotes, and payment records
  • Client database and contact information
  • Team workspace and collaboration history
  • Analytics and reporting data
  • All uploaded files and documents

Important steps to take before account deletion

Export Your Data

Download copies of all your invoices, quotes, and client data before deletion.

Settle Outstanding Invoices

Ensure all pending payments are received and recorded before deleting your account.

Cancel Subscriptions

If you have an active paid plan, cancel it to avoid future charges.

How to Delete Your Account
Step-by-step account deletion process
  1. Navigate to Settings → Account from the sidebar
  2. Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section at the bottom
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Read the confirmation message carefully
  5. Enter your password to confirm deletion
  6. Type "DELETE" to verify you want to proceed
  7. Click "Permanently Delete Account"

Important

You will be immediately signed out and your account will be scheduled for deletion within 24 hours.

Team Account Deletion
Special considerations for team owners

If you own a team workspace:

  • You must transfer ownership to another team member first
  • Or remove all team members and delete the team workspace
  • Team data will be deleted along with your account if you're the owner
  • If you're a team member (not owner), only your user profile is deleted

Tip

Consider transferring team ownership instead of deleting the workspace if others need access.

Alternatives to Deletion
Other options to consider

Instead of deleting your account, you can:

  • Downgrade to a free plan if you have a paid subscription
  • Simply stop using the account (your data will be preserved)
  • Remove team members but keep the workspace for archival purposes
  • Export your data and take a break (you can return anytime)
